HEALTH & SAFETY

In accordance with local guidelines, there will be no vaccination, testing or masking requirements at The Venice Fest 2022.

  • However, the event shall be presented in accordance with applicable public health conditions as of the date of the event and which may change at any time as determined by federal, state or local government agencies or instrumentalities, artists or the promoter; such requirements may include, without limitation, changes to capacity, attendance procedures and entry requirements, such as proof of vaccination and/or negative COVID-19 test, and other protective measures such as requiring attendees to wear face coverings. If any attendee does not comply with any laws, mandates, health orders or directives, promoter or event terms, conditions or rules, then the promoter or event operator may refuse admission to the event or require the ticket holder to leave the venue and such ticket holder will not be entitled to a refund.

COVID-19 WARNING

  • COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. There is an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place or place where people are present and there is no guarantee, express or implied, that those attending the festival will not be exposed to COVID-19.

ATTENDEE PROMISE & HEALTH ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

  • All attendees agree to follow festival policies (including health and safety policies) and posted instructions while at the festival. According to the CDC, older adults and people of all ages with serious underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk of death or severe illness from COVID-19. All attendees should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend the festival. By entering the festival, attendees voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and confirm that they will adhere to local quarantine mandates and the CDC quarantine requirements, available at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/quarantine.html.

PUBLIC SAFETY

  • Security and safety are of utmost importance. We work hand in hand with law enforcement and public safety agencies to help ensure the safety of our events. Because of those very same concerns, we are unable to publicly comment on detailed, specific actions which are taken.

  • Please note that we may implement searches upon festival entry. Please arrive early and note the Prohibited Items list, these will be confiscated / surrendered upon entry.

  • If you, or a friend, require medical assistance please alert a Venice Fest staff member.

  • And remember: if you see something, say something. Flag down any staff member or Public Safety official if you notice something that doesn’t seem quite right.

  • Face coverings are recommended but not mandatory.

What items are allowed at the festival?

Small clutch purses or fanny packs are allowed that are no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” with no more than 1 pocket

Clear totes or backpacks that are no larger than 12”x 12” x 6” with no more than 2 pockets

Hydration packs that are 2.5 L/150 cubic in. or less with no more than two pockets (empty when entering venue)

Binoculars, Cameras, Ear plugs, Eye drops, Gum and Mints, Hand Sanitizer and Baby Wipes, Hats, Lip Balm, Makeup, Parasols, Phone Chargers, Sunscreen (Pump or cream only. No aerosols), Sunglasses, Water Bottles (No Metal or Glass, 40 oz. or less, empty when entering venue) Water Misters (Empty when entering venue), Prescription medication

What items are prohibited?

Bags larger than 12” x 12” x 6”, Bags or backpacks that don’t comply with The Venice Fest bag policy, Framed backpacks, multiple pocket backpacks and any pack that is not aligned with the allowed backpacks above, Illegal and Illicit substances of any kind, motorized vehicles, Weapons or explosives of any kind, Fireworks, Large chains or spiked jewelry, Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed. No unauthorized solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, giveaways, samples, etc.

CODE OF CONDUCT

The Venice Fest is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and fun experience for every one of our guests.

These actions can get you removed from The Venice Fest:

  • Irresponsible or unsafe use of alcohol

  • Taunting, abusive or offensive language

  • Obscene or offensive gestures, including the use of obscene or offensive gestures through imagery or symbolism including banners, signs and other means of visual propaganda.

  • Possession/use/sale of illegal drugs.

  • Public urination or defecation (outside of a proper and/or public restroom)

  • Fighting or engaging in any action that may harm, endanger, threaten or bring discomfort to anyone.

  • Damage, destruction, vandalism or theft of any property.

    Any individual who violates this Code of Conduct may be immediately removed from the festival grounds. Law enforcement may be notified.
